Summary:

Booming organization in NW Suburbs is actively seeking LED Application Engineer for their expanding Lighting division. Opportunity for growth and stability are integral perks to this role, as you will be in a high visibility role designed to help move the sales process along. Must be a self-starter, problem solver, and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Reports directly to CEO and Director of LED/Lighting

General Overview:

? Candidate will offer both pre-& post-sales product & offer support for all LED components.

? Developing relationships with solution providers to offer support to customer designs

? Give technical training/support for distributors

? Evaluate, review, and retrofit customer designs.

? Perform luminaire & component benchmarking and testing.

? Examine customer requirements for LED applications, while focusing of mechanical & thermal design.

Education/ Experience:

? Minimum of a BS in Electrical Engineering; MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.

? 3-5 years of LED/ Lighting based or equivalent experience

? Solid understanding of both the product manufacturing & sales processes

? Experience with AGI Software or equivalent is a MUST.

? Good written & oral communication skills

? Able to travel about 40% of the time
