  • We are seeking an Electrophysiology Tech to:
  • Perform pediatric, adolescent and adult diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
  • Function independently as an expert technologist in EP who is a highly competent and clinically skilled member of the Heart and Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team.
  • In addition to assisting the EP physicians with the most complex procedures, you'll oversee the technical operations required for the performance of routine diagnostic through the advanced interventional electrophysiology procedures.
  • Be an expert in EP based on their knowledge, clinical and technical skill level and ability to educate and train staff within the department.
    • Job Requirements
    • Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).
    • Experience: Electrophysiology or EP experience, Strong EP Ablation experience required
    • Two (2) years of Electrophysiology Technologist work experience in a dedicated Electrophysiology Laboratory
    • Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
    • Prior traveling experience highly preferred.
    • Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
    • Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
      • Schedule Information
      • Traveler must be able to work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience.
        • The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
        • During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
